The Beginning

Our clients had a gravel driveway and concrete pathways running at the side and rear of the property that they wanted to improve.

Work we carried out

A Resin Bound installation was recommended due to its superb aesthetics, being fully permeable and requiring very little maintenance compared to something like block paving.

The existing driveway was excavated and new MOT Type-1 hardcore installed and compacted.

New edging blocks were installed to the perimeter of the drive and separate pathways created at the front, side and rear of the property.

An asphalt base was utilised using 14mm open-course material that allows water to penetrate. This was installed and compacted using our vibrating pedestrian roller.

Finally, the install was hand trowelled in Autumn Quartz and Dobbsweir Yellow aggregate bound in Pro Resin 7.5 UVR Resin.

You can see from the images what a huge transformation this has made to the driveway.
