The Beginning

Our customers had two patio areas at the back of their house that were very uneven, had large protruding manhole covers and had certainly seen better days.

Work we carried out

Our customers liked the idea of a resin bound installation but wanted to also increase the size of the main patio area.

We excavated the loose gravel area and created a new design using curves for the extended area. The new geotextile membrane was installed and a base of MOT Type-1 added.

New blocks were installed to edge the installation and the entire area finished in Pearl Quartz aggregate bound in UVR Resin.

Such a huge transformation that is now permeable, weed resistant and will require very little maintenance.

The Beginning

Our client had a very large patio area of slabs that were loose in places and also raised causing a tripping hazard.

They had also faded and were suffering with weeds and moss, generally requiring a lot of maintenance our client didn’t have time for.

Work we carried out

We excavated areas that were too damaged, loose or sitting too high and concreted.

New red edging blocks were installed and the entire area of 90sqm was hand trowelled in Autumn Quartz aggregate bound in UVR resin.

We painted the previous water feature the same colour as the blocks which is now going to be used as a planter.

The Beginning

Our customers in Hampton Gardens had a new build property and contacted us for advice on extending their small pathway in rear garden to a patio and to install artificial turf and create a small bbq area.

Work we carried out

Matching slabs to the pathway were sourced and another 3 rows of slabs laid to create a larger patio area that could be utilised for garden furniture.

Artificial turf was installed at 36sqm and a small slab area installed in an anthracite coloured slab for a BBQ area which would disguise any fat spillage better than the lighter slabs used for the main patio area.

The entire install was then complimented with a charcoal block edging with a small gravel trap of around a foot left surrounding the install.

The Beginning

Our customer had a block paved patio that had faded and was constantly needing attention to remove weeds and moss.

They wanted to replace the area with something that would require little maintenance and also wanted to extend the size of the area and include a path to their decking area.

Work we carried out

We extended the patio area by a number of metres to give more space and installed a new pathway up the the customers decking area.

The area was then finished in Daltex Silver aggregate troweled at 15mm for foot traffic, bound in UV resistant resin.

What a huge transformation, no more weeds or moss and unlike the block paving the Resin wont fade. It will look like this for years to come.

The Beginning

The front area had a Holly tree that was surrounded by loose gravel. The area constantly required weeding and wasn’t really an area that could be walked on comfortably.

Work we carried out

The loose gravel was removed and the area dug out with type-1 hardcore installed and compacted for a new base.

Edging blocks were then installed around the entire install area and a decorative circle was created using blocks to make a feature of the tree.

The area was then concreted and all the blocks sealed for a darker colour and to repel water.

Once everything had cured the area was troweled in Daltex Silver Resin bound in UV resistant resin.

No more weeds.

The Beginning

Our customers in Werrington wanted a pathway from their decking area to the rear of their garden but wanted something modern and low maintenance.

Work we carried out

We suggested a Resin Bound pathway with solar lighting.

The garden area was excavated and a new base installed ready for block edgings.

Once the edgings were installed we masked off the lighting areas and the install was troweled with White Flint aggregate bound in UV resin. Once set the solar lights were dropped into place.

The end result is a modern looking path with very little maintenance that looks great at night.

The Beginning

Our customer in Bretton had an old crazy paved patio area with some very large and ugly manhole covers they wanted to improve the look of. The also wanted to landscape their garden area which was on somewhat of a slope.

Work we carried out

The entire garden was excavated and new Bradstone paving slabs in three sizes installed onto new base along with recessed manhole covers.

Once installed new turf was added to leveled garden. The end result looks lovely and our customers are extremely happy.
