The beginning
Our customers had a property they were developing and wanted to improve the design and look of the gravel driveway.
Work we carried out
For minimum maintenance and to brighten the driveway up it was decided that a Resin Bound installation would be the best option.
The entire driveway was excavated and a new MOT Type-1 hardcore base was installed.
Charcoal edging blocks we used to surround the install and to make it fully SUDS compliant an open course bitumen sub base was used.
To compliment the install we fabricated new gates/railings and these were installed prior to the final Resin course.
A Pearl Quartz aggregate was hand troweled in UVR Resin at 18-20mm for vehicular traffic.
The end result is a huge transformation that has certainly given the property more kerb appeal.
