The beginning
Our customers had a decking area that was a nitemare to keep on top of and very slippery. They wanted to extend this area and create steps from the rear doors to improve access to the rear garden. They also wanted to hide the neighbouring wall which was old and replace the fencing that was on its last legs.
Work we carried out
The old fence and brick wall was taken down, disposed of and new featheredge panels installed on concrete posts and gravel boards.
Decking was removed and the area excavated to a larger size ready for MOT Type-1 Base and edging blocks to be installed.
A two level system was created using KL blocks and the entire area had bitumen course installed ready for Resin and to make the install fully permeable.
Railway sleepers were used to hide the neighbours wall and create raised planters.
The entire project was then finished in Daltex Classic aggregate bound in UVR Resin.
