The Beginning

Our clients had an area outside the front of their property that was mainly gravel and shrubs.

They wanted to improve the look of the area and at the same time reduce the amount of maintenance required to keep the area looking nice and tidy.

They also had an area opposite their house where they used to park their bins. This was all unlevel and had a fence at the back which was pretty much being kept up by Ivy.

Work we carried out

We recommended using Resin to transform both the front of house as well as the area opposite.

To make the front interesting though we decided to install a new step and split the path from the rest of the install with blocks and two different colours of Resin.

As the previous areas were just gravel and soil we had to install new bases in both locations. This meant excavating the areas, installing MOT type-1 hardcore and concreting.

Once the concrete had fully cured we trowelled Daltex Silver and Staffordshire Pink aggregate bound in UVR resin.

We also installed a new fence to totally transform the area. The end result is No weeds, no puddles and something that really stands out from anything else down the street.

The Beginning

Our lovely customer had a blocked paved driveway at the front of her property in Market Deeping that had faded, sunk in places and generally was bringing down the overall look of the property.

Work we carried out

To increase the parking area of the driveway we removed bushes when excavating the block paving.

The entire area was then treated to a new base using MOT Type-1 hardcore. This was then whackered down numerous times to create a good solid base. New edging blocks were installed and a separate path included as part of the project to split things up a little.

The install areas were topped with 14mm open bitumen at around 50mm this makes the entire install a SUDS compliant with the finished Resin being permeable.

Daltex Silver was chosen and hand trowelled at 18-20mm ready for vehicle traffic.

The Beginning

Our customers had a tarmac driveway that looked tired and a small area towards their front door that had slabs that had sunk in places and wanted to improve the entire area.

Work we carried out

A tarmac drive is perfect for a resin overlay so this meant the only excavation that was required was to install new block edgings and a drainage gully. This is all small work that is completed by hand and doesn’t require diggers so there was minimal disruption.

Once everything was ready for install, the driveway was trowelled with Golden Pea aggregate bound in UVR resin for vehicular traffic. The blocks were also colour enhanced to improve the overall aesthetic of the drive.

As part of the install we also made and installed a new picket fence.

The Beginning

Our customer had a block paved driveway with lawn area that featured a small well.

They were fed up with the maintenance of the grass and wanted to use something that would compliment the existing block paving but would require next to no maintenance.

They had seen some of our other work on Facebook and asked us for a free quotation.

Work we carried out

After deciding that a resin area would be the perfect material to use, the customer chose Britney Bronze as the colour aggregate to compliment the rest of the driveway.

The lawn area was excavated and a new concrete base installed. To make a feature of the well it was decided that new edging blocks would be installed around the area to make it stand out.

Once the base was fully cured we hand trowelled the aggregate at 18-20mm bound in UV resistant resin for vehicular traffic so the area could be driven on if and when required.

The Beginning

Our lovely clients wanted to improve the look of their property in Werrington Village by changing their worn out looking concrete driveway. They were aware of Resin Bound and requested us to give them a free quotation and to see if their driveway was something that could be improved.

Work we carried out

Although the driveway was not in the best of condition, it was something that could be cleaned up and repaired in places. This means unlike a block paving install for example, we can avoid major excavation work and instead simply overlay they existing base.

Overlaying an existing base not only speeds up the installation time of the project but also reduces the cost as less materials and labour are required.

Our clients had looked at a few other installations we had carried out in Werrington and other areas of Peterborough and decided they liked the look of “Daltex Silver” complimented with new Charcoal edging blocks.

We started the project by cleaning and repairing the existing base.

New edging blocks were then installed ready for the Resin overlay.

Extra resin was used so we could increase depths to give a nice level install with the minimum trowel level at 18-20mm for vehicular traffic.

The end result is a incredibly improved driveway that wont fade, wont suffer with Moss and Weed problems and as the surface is permeable it wont suffer with water pooling.

The Beginning

Our customers had a gravel driveway which they wanted to extend to give better parking.

Work we carried out

After weighing up the choice between a block paved drive and a resin driveway, our customers made the decision to opt for a Resin bound install due to the low maintenance and look.

We started by excavating the driveway, disposing of all waste materials and installing a new base.

The new base consists of Type-1 hardcore all whackered down and topped with approximately 70mm of open bitumen.

Once the bitumen had time to cure the driveway was finished in 1-3 and 2-5mm Golden Pea aggregate, trowelled by hand to a smooth finish.

The end result has transformed our clients property and they absolutely love their new driveway, as do the neighbours who have asked for quotations.

The Beginning

Our customers had an old concrete and gravel driveway which was in desperate need of attention.

They had issues with water pooling and the fact that a resin bound installation is permeable was the perfect solution as not only would it look great for years to come it would help massively with their pooling water issues.

Work we carried out

The gravel area was excavated and type-1 hardcore installed along with edging blocks ready for a bitumen base.

Once the base had cured the areas was trowelled with Golden Pea aggregate bound in UV resistant resin ready for heavy vehicular traffic.

The customers love their new driveway and their was a lot of interest from passers by and their neighbours.

The Beginning

Our lovely clients had an old concrete driveway they were originally going to have block paved but changed their minds to a Resin Bound install.

Work we carried out

Once the new gates had been installed we excavated the ground towards the entrance to install new blocks and to get the correct heights so we could massively improve the terrible levels.

A new manhole cover was installed and the entire area trowelled with Autumn Quartz aggregate bound in UV resistant resin.

The entire job from start to finish was completed in just 7 hours and our clients are absolutely over the moon with the result.

Its fair to say the customer made the right choice in moving from block paving which would have faded and required maintenance to something that looks a million times better and will require no fuss at all.

The Beginning

Our client had a block paved driveway and pathways which they were sick of having to keep weeding and had quite badly sunk.

They wanted to, along with a patio area, transform into something visually much better and with minimum maintenance.

Work we carried out

All areas were excavated for new base installs.

One type-1 hardcore had been used to stone up the areas were based out using bitumen and charcoal block edgings and steps were installed.

The driveway and pathways were finished in Golden Pea and the patio area finished with White Flint aggregate bound in UV resistant resin.

A new fence and gate was also installed at the same time.
