The Beginning

Our client wanted to improve the look of their worn out concrete driveway which was also having some water pooling issues in areas. The couple were insistent they didn’t want block paving as their neighbour was constantly having to clean and de-weed theirs and had seen a Resin drive elsewhere which they loved the look of.

Work we carried out

We totally agreed that a Resin bound drive would be the perfect solution especially as the drive was concrete as this would mean we could overlay the resin on top of the current base, greatly reducing the cost to less than what a block paving install would cost.

We removed some slabs at the entrance to the house and concreted this small area and also recommended installing some new kerb edgings to brighten up the driveway and meet with the neighbours existing block paving.

In the photos you can see the difference between the neighbours block paved drive and the new resin driveway which will require next to no maintenance, will not suffer from weeds, moss etc and will eliminate the flooding issues.

Safe to say our clients were overjoyed with the final result which took just 3 days from start to finish including all the paving work.

The Beginning

Our client had a block paved area at the front of the property along with slabs which she was finding difficult to keep on top of with regard to maintenance (weeds etc) as well as finding the area uneven and difficult for elderly relatives to walk on.

Work we carried out

We removed all the slabs and loose stones and infilled with a concrete base. This was then prepared for a Resin Overlay which was completed in Staffordshire Pink.

The result is a nice even pavement that will require no maintenance. Our client is over the moon with the end result.

The Beginning

Our client based in Newborough had a tarmac driveway and small path which she wanted to improve the look of with a Resin Overla with charcoal border.

Work we carried out

The block border was installed and the tarmac area prepared for resin overlay with Golden Quartz.

The overlay was completed with new gully drain installed.

The Beginning

Our client based in Sandringham had a driveway that the previous owner of the property had at some point had a company install Resin but the company had not used the correct Resin so the driveway had deteriorated as the aggregate they had used was meant for foot traffic not vehiclular.

The client were adamant they installed Resin again as they didnt want the upkeep that is involved with Block Paving.

You can see in some of the images the Resin Drive alongside the neighbours Block Paved drive, the Resin drive will not need cleaning, will not have weeds or moss problems, is resistant to staining and will not fade in the sun… It will look like it does today in years to come. Compared to the Block Paved driveway you can see why the client asked us to come all the way from Peterborough to install their new Resin Drive.

Work we carried out

We prepared the area for a new overlay and extended the install area by digging out a extra few metres and concreting.

The customer opted for Staffordshire Pink Resin and wanted us to install an edging using small slabs they had used elsewhere in the garden.

The final result is a stunning looking permeable drive that requires next to no maintenance and will look like it does today in years to come without all the hassle of moss, oil staining etc.

The Beginning

Our client had a slab and gravel driveway which had very bad drainage problems causing a lot of flooding at the entrance to the house

Work we carried out

We suggested installing two drains one near the front door and one further back near the garage which we would connect to a soakaway further down the drive.

We would then block pave the driveway at a fall that would force all water to the drains and stop the flooding problems.

To complement the drive and to split the garden area which was at a slightly different height, we installed driveset kerb stones which look superb.

The Beginning

Our client wanted to improve the overall look of their driveway and pathway.

Work we carried out

After an initial visit to take measurements of the install areas we made a couple of suggestions to the customer with regard to the materials we could use for the project, recommending a Resin install for the main parking area, breaking the design up with Autumn block paving for pathways from the front of the property going down to the rear garden and across the front towards front door.

Autumn paving was edged with charcoal blocks and the previously installed decorative stones we re-used for a small area towards the right of the property.

Along with the new driveway we installed two new picket fences.

The Beginning

Our clients in Werrington village were having huge issues with their garden flooding as well as having a tired looking driveway and front.

Work we carried out

After a visit to give some advice on how we could improve the drainage for the garden it was decided that we would lift the entire rear garden and install new drainage. We would then lift the height of the garden which was previously sloping down to a level height.

The client loved the idea of a Resin Driveway, Patio area and pathways which we installed in Staffordshire Pink with a Charcoal Blocked Border. We also installed new steps as with Resin inserts to compliment the install. The previous steps were extremely low which meant a big step down into the rear garden.

The new install has solved all the flooding issues and the customer cannot believe the transformation of not only their garden but their entire font of the house and driveway.

The Beginning

Our clients in Eastfield Road Peterborough wanted to improve the look of the front of their garden/yard but to keep the look in keeping with the rest of the property.

Work we carried out

After a visit to discuss the different types of blocks and design ideas with our clients, they decided on a dark tegular block for both footpaths, with the centre piece to be seperated with dark rope edging.

The centre piece which was previous decorative stone was replaced with a gorgeous Resin insert using Brittany Bronze aggregate.

Two old coping stones were also replaced and the wall repointed in places.

Our clients love the transformation.

The Beginning

Our client in Yaxley wanted to increase the parking at a property she had recently moved into as well as add some fencing.

Work we carried out

A current gravel area of approximately 36 sqm was dug out, levelled and then turfed. We then dug out a grass area further away from the house and prepared the ground for a block paving installation.

The drainage covers in the area were all at different angles so these were made straight and set into the block paving area.

A prepared area of soil was purposely left between the newly laid lawn and the block paving for the customer to plant shrubs and flowers.

To finish the project off we installed three new featheredge fence panels on concrete posts and concrete gravel boards to split the pathway around the side of the property between the client house and next door.
