The Beginning

Our customer in Stanground wanted to change his sons driveway as it was in bit of a mess and really liked the idea of a Resin Bound install with no maintenance and in a colour to match his property.

Work we carried out

The entire driveway was excavated and new levels setup.

The area was hardcored with MOT type 1 (important the right type of hardcore is used for any driveway install be it Resin or Block Paving), and the area was whackered down top to bottom, bottom to top, left to right and right to left to make sure the drive had a good solid base installed.

Charcoal blocks were then installed and concrete laid at 150-180mm, to conform to BS EN 206-1 and BS 8900-2.

Once the concrete had been given enough days to fully cure the driveway was hand trowelled with a mixture of Daltex Black and Daltex Silver aggregate bound in a UV resistant resin. This was laid at 18-20mm for vehicluar traffic.

To finish the blocks were then sealed to help repel water and maintain their colour.

The customer loves his new driveway and has had numerous neighbours and people passing ask for details.

The Beginning

Our customer wanted to increase the parking available at their property in Gunthorpe with Block Paving.

Work we carried out

The area was excavated to approximately 300mm and 200mm of hardcore was installed and whackered down both up/down and across the install area to give a good solid base.

Charcoal blocks were then laid on sand and finished with kiln dried said between the joins.

The area was then whackered again both up/down and across the entire area to give a good solid finish to the install.

The Beginning

Our customer was wanting to increasing parking space at their property in Cardea and had a front area of the house which was quite high maintenance with it being difficult to keep tidy.

Work we carried out

We removed all the shrubbery and loose stone and excavated so we could create a strong base for vehicular traffic.

The area was hardcore’d and a concrete base of 200mm was installed.

We decided to split the areas of resin to create a pathway and fabricate metal posts with chain linking to keep the area closed off.

As the customers wanted to use the area now and again to park a vehicle we made the first post removable so access to the drive was easy.

The area was finished in Daltex Silver and White Flint aggregate bound in UV resistant Resin.

The result is a modern front with next to maintenance that doubles up as extra parking as and when required.

We have already been asked by two neighbours to provide quotes for similar installs.

The Beginning

Our customer contacted us as she had a small area in her garden that was currently full of weeds as it was installed with loose stone. They had seen Resin used elsewhere and thought this would be the perfect thing to make the pathway solid and reduce the maintenance.

They found us online and arranged for us to pop over and complete a quotation.

Work we carried out

We removed all the loose gravel and dug the area out. The area was then concreted with drainage holes placed down through to the subtrate.

The client decided to go for Daltex Silver as their colour of choice for the install and the whole job was completed over two working days.

The result is a much better looking area with no loose stone and no more weeding!

The Beginning

Our customer had a driveway that they wanted to extend to their boundary and also to a turfed area to increase the amount of parking space available.

Work we carried out

All shrubs, turf etc was removed and the previously laid driveway excavated.

The area was then hardcore’d before an installation of Autumn Mix blocks with a Red edging.

Our customer is over the moon with the final result which has greatly increased the space available for parking and with a much better base installed than the previous driveway the will stay looking great for years to come.

The Beginning

Our customer had slabs to the entrance of their property which had sunk and moved and also a driveway which had seen better days.

Work we carried out

All the slabs and existing driveway was removed and a new driveway extending to the previously slabbed area was installed in Marshalls 60mm Red Blocks with a contrasting Charcoal edging.

The Beginning

Our customer had a front area of the house which was gravelled and was extremely difficult to maintain with weeds coming through despite having a membrane etc.

Work we carried out

We removed all the loose gravel and dug the area out. We installed charcoal blocks around two plants in the centre of both of the front sections as a decorative feature and the rest of the area was concreted.

Once the concrete had fully cured we installed Daltex Staffordshire Pink Resin.

The end result is a modern looking design that will require no maintenance and the customer loves it.

The Beginning

We were contacted by our client who wanted to extend the block paving area of their property to allow for extra parking.

Work we carried out

The current area was turfed, this was removed and the area hardcored and compacted.

The area was then block paved in “buff” blocks to match the rest of the driveway area.

The total install took just two days.

The Beginning

Our customers had a front garden that they wanted to makeover and had seen one of our Resin Installations we had carried out elsewhere in Werrington. They Wanted to remove the current, worn out concrete pathway and install a new pathway that would branch out to run around the front of the house and to  the rear garden gate.

They also wanted the garden turfed as the ground was all uneven and just soil and weeds.

Work we carried out

We started by removing the old concrete path and sprayed out a rough design on how the path would look. Once this was decided we went on to hardcore the area, lifting the pathway level up to eliminate a big step down at the garden gate and make the same level as the house reception area.

Edging blocks were then installed and the area concreted. This was then left for a good few days to make sure it had fully cured.

Once we were happy the concrete had cured enough we installed the Resin. The customers had decided on daltex Staffordshire Pink which was laid at 12mm for foot traffic.

The following day we lifted the rest of the garden area with soil, whacker-plated the area down to achieve a good solid base and finished with top soil.

Turf was then laid with instructions to water every evening.

The customers love their new garden which is massively transformed from what it was previously.

The Beginning

Our client had a back garden she was finding high maintenance and quite bland. She wanted something that would look great all year round with little maintenance and had a few ideas she wanted to work with.

Work we carried out

After arranging to visit Rachel she had quite a clear idea of what it was she was looking to achieve and we managed to get this all down in a quotation that she was happy with.

The main turfed area of the garden was to be lifted with a decorative blocked circle to be created in order to house a small area of approximately 3m of turf, breaking up the garden. We would compliment this with a charcoal blocked border around the entire project area.

The gravel and slabbed area was also lifted to match up with the rest of the garden and become one install area.

A concrete base was installed with draining areas and the customers choice of Daltex Golden Quartz Resin overlayed.

Rachel loves her new garden and we think the entire project looks fantastic.

Number of install days was 4.
