The beginning

Our clients in Whittlesey had a slabbed pathway around their property they wanted to improve the look of and at the same time decrease the amount of maintenance required to keep it looking nice.

Work we carried out

New block paviours were installed around the project to keep everything bound nicely and angled so there would be no tripping points.

Once installed the area was primed and our own blend of Aluminium aggregate hand trowelled at around 15mm for foot traffic.

The blocks were then sealed to enhance their colour.

The install will now require next to no maintenance, looks great, allows water through the 15mm of resin and really stands out against the red chippings.

The Beginning

Our client had a very large patio area of slabs that were loose in places and also raised causing a tripping hazard.

They had also faded and were suffering with weeds and moss, generally requiring a lot of maintenance our client didn’t have time for.

Work we carried out

We excavated areas that were too damaged, loose or sitting too high and concreted.

New red edging blocks were installed and the entire area of 90sqm was hand trowelled in Autumn Quartz aggregate bound in UVR resin.

We painted the previous water feature the same colour as the blocks which is now going to be used as a planter.

The Beginning

Our customer stumbled across our advertisement in Werrington Spotlight magazine and asked us to pop over and measure up for a small budget patio area to replace an old hexagon decorative area in her garden.

Whilst we were there she asked us for our opinion of what could be used to improve a concrete pathway at the front of the property that had broken up and become a bit of a tripping hazard.

The lady had been let down by another company so wanted to have the work completed asap, fortunately enough we were only few metres away installing a Resin Bound drive in the coming weeks so we were able to install the work at the same time.

Work we carried out

The existing hexagon decorative area was excavated and new MOT type-1 hardcore installed to created a strong base. The new buff patio slabs were then installed and the surrounding area pointed up to the existing concrete pathway which had moved and was at varying levels, to prevent any tripping points.

It was a no-brainer when it came to the uneven pathway that Resin Bound should be used.

The lady wanted a nice bright and cheerful colour and decided upon Autumn Quartz.

New edging blocks in charcoal were installed and Autumn Quartz aggregate troweled in UVR resin for foot traffic.

The end result is a nice level pathway that looks superb and will require no maintenance.

The Beginning

Our customers in Hampton Gardens had a new build property and contacted us for advice on extending their small pathway in rear garden to a patio and to install artificial turf and create a small bbq area.

Work we carried out

Matching slabs to the pathway were sourced and another 3 rows of slabs laid to create a larger patio area that could be utilised for garden furniture.

Artificial turf was installed at 36sqm and a small slab area installed in an anthracite coloured slab for a BBQ area which would disguise any fat spillage better than the lighter slabs used for the main patio area.

The entire install was then complimented with a charcoal block edging with a small gravel trap of around a foot left surrounding the install.

The Beginning

We had been contacted by Deaf Blind UK to overhaul their residence area in Peterborough.

It was recommended that Resin Bound was used for pathways as this would provide a good solid surface available in a variety of colours that would also require minimum maintenance.

Existing railings would be taken down and replaced with bright blue railings of the recommended heights and sizes for vision impaired residents.

Work we carried out

The existing base was prepared for new resin bound pathways, old railings were removed and new railings installed with the Resin bound pathways and block edgings installed as the railings were installed to keep disruption to a minimum for residents.

The Beginning

A previous customer of ours who’s driveway we had installed wanted us to install a new patio and wall for bedding plants.

Work we carried out

The area was excavated ready for a new base of type-1 MOT hardcore.

Once compacted the wall was erected and the patio laid.

The Beginning

The second part of an install for our client in Orton was to transform their side path and rear patio area.

The areas were slabbed and had lots of unsightly manhole covers as well as a brick wall near the clients shed that surrounded lots of loose gravel.

Work we carried out

All the slabs, gravel and brick wall were excavated and new MOT Type-1 Hardcore was then installed and compacted with new charcoal edgings added.

An open course of Bitumen was used to secure everything in place and give a fully permeable install, it was then finished by hand troweling Daltex Silver Aggregate bound in UVR resin for foot traffic.

The Beginning

Our customer had a block paved patio that had faded and was constantly needing attention to remove weeds and moss.

They wanted to replace the area with something that would require little maintenance and also wanted to extend the size of the area and include a path to their decking area.

Work we carried out

We extended the patio area by a number of metres to give more space and installed a new pathway up the the customers decking area.

The area was then finished in Daltex Silver aggregate troweled at 15mm for foot traffic, bound in UV resistant resin.

What a huge transformation, no more weeds or moss and unlike the block paving the Resin wont fade. It will look like this for years to come.

The Beginning

Our customer had a crazy paved patio area that had seen better days and a gravel area down to a pond that they wanted to improve.

Work we carried out

We suggested a resin bound installation for the patio and got to work excavating areas that required a new base.

Once the new base was completed we installed the customers choice of Brindle edging blocks and finished the install with “Alloy” resin aggregate, hand troweled in UVR resin.
